I’m trying to get my child’s transcript from last year. How can I get it since the school she attends keeps asking for it so that they could give her the credits for the work that she did so that they put her in the right classes?
Hello! If your Time4Learning account is no longer active, please reach out to our customer support team to see what they can do. Thanks! https://www.time4learning.com/curriculum/contact_us.php
My daughter is in Kindergarten, does she need an Home School template as well?
Hi Tiffany! Transcripts aren’t usually a concern until high school. For early elementary students, parents should just be able to keep records/portfolios based on their state’s requirements. 🙂 https://www.time4learning.com/homeschooling/by-state.html
My whole transcript up to the first semester of 10th grade is in public school and college classes. If I do the 2nd semester of 10th grade only through time4learning without a charter school (I would be traditionally homeschooling), would the transcript that I create after 10th grade be accepted by a homeschool charter school? In other words, is there a written report in this program that says how you did in the course and when you did it? Thanks
Hi! Yes, parents can print reports showing what was completed and any scores. As far as acceptance by the homeschool charter school, we recommend that you reach out to them to make sure. You can always contact our customer support if you have additional questions. 🙂 https://www.time4learning.com/curriculum/contact_us.php
I’m interested in doing my senior year on time4learning. Would I need to transfer my transcripts from my current high school (grades 9-11)?and on the downloadable transcript would I add the previous years to it?
Hi Blaine! Since we are a curriculum and not a school, we wouldn’t need your transcripts from your current high school. You will want those records though, so you can use them to build out your homeschool transcript. Yes, you would just add the credit hours/courses from your current high school to the downloaded transcript you use for homeschool. 🙂
If you have additional questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us! https://www.time4learning.com/curriculum/contact_us.php
Thank you for the template. Is it fillable? Then printable? If not, how do I complete it typed? I don’t want to complete it by hand. Thank you for your assistance.
Hi Maria! If you download and install the free Adobe Acrobat Reader program, you’ll be able to type/complete and print the transcript. Once you have the program installed, open the transcript using AAR and look for the option to “fill and sign.” 🙂
Can template be downloaded using an iPad or does it have to be a PC?
Hi Mona! The template can definitely be downloaded on an iPad, but you’ll want to make sure you have a pdf editor on your device. 🙂
My child has more courses than there are spaces for. Is there any way to just print out the course section?
Hi Angie! We don’t have just a course section on this transcript template, but here are some links where you can look for additional transcript templates. You might find one that works a little better for your needs. 🙂

Hi my daughter did half of a year in 7th grade and the other half of it homeschooled she also did 8th and 9th homeschooled does she need a transcript to start 10th grade is it necessary also she failed 2 times in school with they let her go to the tenth because it’s her right grade with out a transcript
Hi Tina! Whether or not she needs a transcript to re-enter the school system is going to depend on each school district’s requirements. We’d definitely recommend reaching out to your school board to see what they need! 🙂
Do I need a transcript template for my sixth grade special Ed child with autism
Hi Kristi. Transcripts are usually for high school students, but the records that you need to keep will vary depending on what your state requires. We do have some information on portfolios that you might find useful: https://www.time4learning.com/homeschool_portfolios.shtml
Will my high school daughter’s transcripts be accepted.
Hi Shawn. Homeschooling is legal in all 50 states, so any diploma you (the homeschool parent) issue should be accepted when a high school diploma is asked for* (thinking employment, military enrollment, etc.). *This information should not be interpreted as legal advice. It is your responsibility to interpret and understand the laws that you will be homeschooling under.
If you’re asking if her transcripts will be accepted for college admissions, you should reach out to the college(s) she is interested in attending and speak with their admissions counselors as each school will have their own set of admissions requirements.
I have an ESE student. Fo I still have to maintain his IEP or can I just teach him according to his ability?
Hi! That could vary depending on your state. Many parents that choose to homeschool their child with an IEP will continue with the IEP and any services that it provides. However, if your state doesn’t have any regulations in place for that, you should be able to homeschool him at his pace, without maintaining the IEP. We would definitely recommend making sure you’re familiar with your state’s homeschooling laws, and double checking with your current school board. 🙂 https://www.time4learning.com/homeschool/state_homeschooling_info.shtml
Is there information on what you need to transfer from homeschool to an Arizona public high school? Will they take all credits? Thank you!
Hi Jennifer, great question! Enrolling/re-enrolling in the public school system will vary, and will depend on each school board. Many take homeschool transcripts, but some do require accredited credits. Your best bet is to reach out to the school system to make sure. Good luck! We do have a page that might be a good resource, all about homeschooling in Arizona: https://www.time4learning.com/homeschooling/arizona/ Good luck! 🙂
Is there anyway I can get my child’s hours if our acct has been expired?
Hi Melisa. It’s possible you can still retrieve records, but it’s going to depend on how long ago the account expired. I would give our customer support team a call at 888-771-0914 and see what they can do! 🙂
Is there anyway to change the GPA calculation to a simple A=4, B=3, C=2, D=1?
Hi Beth. The grading scale is based on standardized information provided by the National Center for Education Statistics. This is just a suggestion to help parents with calculating GPA. As the teacher of record you can choose the scale that works for you. 🙂
How do I make this editable on my pc?
Hi Stacy. Once you download it to your PC, you should be able to open and edit (don’t try to edit in the browser tab, try and edit the one you downloaded). 🙂
I have downloaded the transcript template, updated Adobe Reader, and still cannot edit the transcript without paying a monthly or annual fee to upgrade the Adobe software. Can you please provide a template that is more user friendly? A Word or Excel format would be ideal.
Hi Jillian! You shouldn’t need to buy any service. Once the template is downloaded to your computer, open it and click on Tools in the tab near the top. From there, click fill and sign. You should then be able to type within each field. If you have further trouble though, please don’t hesitate to reach out! 🙂
How much does it cost? My son is in the 10th grade
Hi Loretta! If you’re asking about the template, it’s a free download. 🙂 If you’re asking about how much the Time4Learning curriculum costs, at the high school level it’s $30 per month/per student for 4 courses. Additional courses are $5 per month/per student.
I’m in public school, but I really want to do online health so I can take other science classes. I’m trying to get your high school health program approved, but in order to do that, they want an official transcript (grade). Is that possible?
Hi Emily! Time4Learning is a curriculum, not a school. We don’t provide transcripts, but our program does offer automated reports (scores, duration, etc.). You can use that report info to create your transcript. Hope that helps! 🙂
Do you know if Ohio public school can accept home school transcripts, or is that a district-based decision?
Hi Lillia. While homeschooling is legal in all 50 states, it’s always a good idea to check with the school board if you think you might enroll/re-enroll in the public school system. 🙂
what program should i use to open the transcript to type in it?
Hi Beth! If you’re using a Mac, you can just download, then open the PDF. You can edit it in Preview. If you’re using a Windows PC, you should be able to open the downloaded PDF in any PDF reader (like Adobe Acrobat) and make edits. If you’re still having trouble, definitely let us know. We can try to troubleshoot!
How can this be properly filled out if it’s printed up first? I’m looking for one that I can fill out online
Hi Susan! Once downloaded, the transcript can be completed on your computer then printed out.
I downloaded it, but cannot figure out how to type the information into it
Most Excellent! Thank You!
Our pleasure, Twyla, glad we can help!
tanks really nice
