Your kindergartener is beginning to build skills in logical reasoning and letter recognition. Our kindergarten curriculum helps kids begin building early reading skills through phonics. Fun safari adventures help kids learn about numbers. Science units help young learners practice critical thinking skills by introducing the scientific method, investigating living and non-living things, and exploring fun facts about planet Earth.

Kindergarten students discover that letters and words are the keys to unlocking the world of reading, offering opportunities for deeper learning and enjoyment.

At Time4Learning, we focus on building phonemic awareness, letter recognition, and high-frequency word recognition. Our text interactions are supported by pictures and emphasize comprehension through discussion and engagement.

At Time4Learning, kindergarteners discover that:

  • The letters of the alphabet can be written, have unique sounds, and build words
  • Reading helps us explore our curiosities and learn about new things
  • Every story is unique, with different characters, settings, and events
  • Readers form opinions about the books they read, helping them discover the stories they love most

Kindergarten students naturally possess a sense of curiosity and eagerness to understand the world around them. We harness this curiosity to engage learners in math, presenting concepts through a hands-on, concrete approach that builds a strong foundation for future learning.

At Time4Learning, Kindergarteners discover that:

  • Numbers are everywhere, and can be used to describe quantities
  • Patterns are found in nature and throughout the world
  • Every object can be described by its location, appearance, and attributes

Kindergarten students are always asking questions like “why” or “how.” At this stage, their thinking is concrete, meaning they understand the world through what they can see, touch, and interact with.

The Time4Learning curriculum encourages them to explore these questions through our research-based 5E Model: Engage, Explore, Explain, Extend, Evaluate.

At Time4Learning, kindergarteners discover that:

  • We can observe matter using our 5 senses.
  • Our world is made up of living and nonliving things
  • There is energy all around us, like the sun, light, and electricity
  • People need energy to live, work, grow and play

This outline shows an example of both what your child will learn (the scope) and the order in which the lessons build on each other (the sequence). More detailed lesson plans are available in the parent account. All lessons are entirely customizable.

We’ve been using Time4Learning as we homeschool our kiddos for 5 years now. It’s been a great curriculum to help the kids learn. As a parent, I like how easy it is for them to access on their own AND how organized it all is too.

..

My kid loves using the website and I think it’s just right for homeschooling

Time4Learning has helped my child with learning how to work on their own, staying more consistent, wanting to do more lessons and actually enjoying school time most of the time.

Everything is in order and can go at your own pace

We’ve had a wonderful experience with this curriculum. It’s well organized, engaging, and easy to follow. My children have made noticeable progress in reading, math, and overall confidence. The lessons keep them interested without feeling overwhelming. I highly recommend it to homeschooling families looking for a solid and effective curriculum.

The program is super easy to navigate my 5 year old got the hang of it in no time! He loves the characters and people involved and gets so excited hearing the songs and seeing the same faces.

We couldn’t get support for the schooling we needed. We couldn’t get into our curriculum. It was extremely hard to communicate wait times were long calls were never returned and test scores stopped working we paid month after month and felt we was getting no where

The curriculum is fantastic!!

Our daughter gets a little bored with the songs at the end of each lesson. Other than that she’s really loving it.

Love everything about them

My son really enjoys time4learning, he is excited to login and learn each day

Nova has learned a great deal in her first year of online school. We're almost done for the summer and already looking forward to 1st grade this fall.

She loves everything

Me and my two sons absolutely love the program and the curriculum. They find the characters both human and cartoon endearing heartfelt and funny.. and for us grown ups who have a good sense of humor.. I've noticed some Monty Python references.. no one else would talk about a swallow and a coconut 🤣🤌🏻🫶🏼🫶🏼 extremely happy with the program and the service and will continue to use them throughout my homeschooling journey!

It's fun and he loves the characters

It was wonderful we loved it and will be returning next year

As a first yr homeschooling mom..this has been the best experience for both of us. So thankful to T4L.

I love it, wish there was social studies for kindergarten and 1st grade. Sometimes a bit glitchy but nothing too crazy. I love how customizable it is and how easy it is to move things around.

Excellent and easy

My child loves doing his schooling through time4learning. It keeps him interested and he enjoys interacting with the classes he is taking.

Very easy to go through. My child loves it

Best decision I did I for my daughter

Love the elementary courses!

Just started my kindergartener. And she is obsessed and I am too!

Love time4learning and so does my son

I really love the quality of curriculum! I wish there was a Bible subject for kids like they have in Mia Academy! That’s the only thing that made me question going with time4learning

Love the curriculum for T4L! I do wish it did more on learning how to read. It does have some phonics but not as much as I’d like. And my 4yr old has to zoom out every time she has to click “next” which she has a hard time doing by herself. But aside that it’s been amazing!!
