FAQs

Students typically spend 1-2 hours daily on Time4Learning, depending on your homeschooling goals or supplemental learning needs. You can adjust the schedule to suit your child’s pace and focus.

As a homeschooling family, the parent will provide the diploma and the transcript. However, Time4Learning offers printable templates and record-keeping that makes transcript and diploma creation easy for parents.

Yes! Time4Learning offers printable worksheets, educational games, and extension activities to reinforce learning. Parents can use these resources to deepen understanding and make lessons more hands-on.

Time4Learning is not accredited because it functions as a curriculum provider rather than a school. Our comprehensive learning program supports homeschooling and meets or exceeds state standards. Accreditation is not a requirement for homeschooling in any U.S. state. For this reason, colleges accept homeschooled students based on their merit, homeschool records, and transcripts.

We’ve had a wonderful experience with this curriculum. It’s well organized, engaging, and easy to follow. My children have made noticeable progress in reading, math, and overall confidence. The lessons keep them interested without feeling overwhelming. I highly recommend it to homeschooling families looking for a solid and effective curriculum.

T4L has been an invaluable resource for our family. It has increased my daughter’s confidence in her schooling and has served as a foundation in language arts, math and science. It is so rewarding to see her grow in the knowledge of various topics I have not been able to cover in our homeschool curriculums. I plan to continue using this program for years to come. I’m thankful for everyone involved in creating such a thoughtful and thorough program. A job well done!

It’s wonderful, especially being neurodivergent myself, way to keep track of my level 2 autistic son’s progress

Time4Learning. My autistic daughter was so excited when it came to school time. She loves it.

My husband and I made the decision to take our daughter out of public school due to the lack of attention and education she was receiving. She is in KG and was doing 2 and 3 year old work in KG. My daughter was not being challenged and the teacher was extremely burnt out after 20 years of teaching. Since our daughter has switched to Homeschooling with Time4Learning she has learned so much. She is required to spend about 15 min on each subject English, Math and Science. The activities grab her attention and she is a straight A student. Time4Learning keeps track of everything your child does with a date and time stamp. It is the end of October and she is just about done with school. Makes you wonder why more people don't homeschool. She doesn't have to worry about distractions, not getting enough one in one, and she loves all the work she does. I recommend more parents switch their kids to Time4Learning and homeschooling in general. Thank you Time4Learning for everything you do.

We just started using Time4Learning, and we are so happy! My son started Kindergarten this year, and we were really unsure what homeschooling route we wanted to go, and Time4Learning made it so easy. They have so much information on our state that it made reading through the requirements and all the ins and outs so easy.

I would reccomend. So far so good , my daughter has dyslexia and has been doing time 4 learning on and off for the last 2 months. She enjoys it and I have actually also seen some improvement on her academic skills. It is game based and is repetitive but different in good ways . My daughter gets her alphabet letters confused often but when it's game based she really get it down .Same goes for her colors . I really do believe the more we stay consistent with time 4learning it will really benefits my daughter ,and the price really is affordable if you think of it for real educational purposes. Time4learning is great and I definitely would recommend the program !

I was extremely nervous to take on the role of a homeschooling mom again. I let go of that role for one year and thought that was the best choice for my kiddos but soon realized that it wasn’t and I would have to make changes in order to homeschool them (ages 5 & 6). Time4learning made it very easy to make the transition, select the grade levels I needed and create a full curriculum for my kiddos. I love the how subjects are explained in a fun, playful manner but very informative, I love that I have the flexibility to up their grade level on a subject and that I am in control of their week. This year I am stay at home mom with a kindergartner and a first grader, our daily schedule are usually booked with extra curricular activities, volunteer work and “unknowns” that come up along the way & I just love that we have the flexibility to log in from anywhere when needed & that I can go back into a specific date if we happen to miss it for any reason. I highly recommend time4learning to everyone lol! I really do, once you learn how to log in and navigate the system it’s all smooth sailing for you as the parent & the your kiddo as well.

LOVE IT! My kindergartener is absolutely loving the program! Even asks to do it on the weekends too!

Love the visuals and flexibility. Needed something while I dealt with post partum recovery. We still want to use non technology based learning and have Time 4 Learning as a supplement.

I absolutely love Time4Learning! It makes teaching 3 (soon to be 4) grade levels seamless!

I like the features of the program very much, but I do find the interface to be not very intuitive and takes some time to get used to. I wish the dashboard updated more frequently than once a day and showed time spent so far that day. I also would like to be able to go in and add breaks after days have passed. I forgot to put in Christmas break and instead had to create an entirely new lesson plan/program. I also would like to be able to delete previous lesson schedules that we no longer need. Lessons are thorough. I like how things are broken down into smaller parts. The kids really like the program so far and it is saving me time! We will continue to use it.

It's a very interactive site, and I really like it for the most part. The only problem I have is the type of computers that need to be used because we've tried a tablet, and that one, for some reason, works (on pre-k work only) the best, even though that specific tablet is not suitable for this program. We have also tried doing the coursework on 2 different computers, and for some reason, I have had problems with them all, mainly with freezing or no sound. Hopefully, I can figure out which computer is the best before they move on to the kindergarten coursework.

Sometimes the website lags a lot, not allowing to refresh. Some of the activities are not being counted therefore its won't show she has completed the activity when she has

Customize within PK-K subjects

Too short not even half the year, i also think that would make it more enjoyable for the kids to get rewards after each activities like tickets or coins and be able to buy things and creat their own avatar to make learning more fun

Customize within PK-K subjects

Love the ease of use for my pre schooler (and myself). Wish the website wouldn’t be as unresponsive so often in the back office (parent portal). I frequently have to refresh or go back later to finish something and I have yet to create an activity plan because it won’t ever load. Also some of the audio in lessons is crackly and rough.

Customize within PK-K subjects

The sound needs to be balanced better. We are often readjusting the volume because one video is very quiet, then the next activity will be very loud. The videos for the letters have poor singing and are very difficult to understand. Letting all of the subjects be open at any time, or at least allowing them to be locked or unlocked via the parent account would also be nice- we use T4L as an additional resource with another curriculum, and I have had to carefully move subjects around in my curriculum to line up with the locked and unlocked categories in the PreK selection. Providing better age-appropriate games in the "playground" would also be good. There are a lot of games in there that are beyond my preschoolers capabilities and are also not even taught in T4L.

Customize within PK-K subjects

Many things need to be improved. Especially if you advertise that this is also for slow learnings. For a pre-k with a slow learner the story books are way too long. The app lags all the time. The lessons sometimes aren’t checked off even though we finished them not allowing us to move on to the next section which is locked. It’s not great for customization but advertises that you can customize it to your learner. I will probably be switching soon

Most of the stuff we like, but the science always freezes up and when I've reached out for help I never get a response.

Customize within PK-K subjects

I found the games to be glitchy and graphics to be very old looking, especially for kids. The letter bucket catch game is really bad- it glitches like crazy. The letter bubble popping game was better but still very old looking graphics. I also don't think it's ideal for iPads- It's more of a desktop program. I can see how for older kids this program would be great, BUT I find for younger kids, programs like Khan academy and Reading.com are better AND much cheaper.
