Montana Homeschool Co-ops

Although similar to a homeschool support group, a homeschool co-op, short for cooperative, sets itself apart in that it is typically known for offering enrichment classes to its students. There is usually a fee involved with joining a co-op, and this allows students to participate in the classes as well as other events and activities, however, this varies by co-op, so be sure to ask.

Gallatin Christian Homeschool Co-op is located in Bozeman and open to K-12 students. Students meet once a week for classes, and parents are required to teach a class on the topic of their choice. In addition to the educational opportunity for Christian families, both students and parents have plenty of time to socialize and make new friends.

Another homeschool co-op in Montana is the Helena Homeschool Enrichment Co-op. Students can take classes on a number of subjects including art, music, and history. As with most co-ops, parents are required to volunteer their time here as well. This co-op also schedules field trips and other events during the summer months when classes are not in session.
