T4L IRL Community Champion Agreement
This agreement outlines the responsibilities, expectations, and terms of the volunteer T4L IRL Community Champion role.
1. The Role
The Community Champion (“Champion”) agrees to act as a volunteer representative and local leader for the Time4Learning community. This role is unpaid and designed to foster in-person connections among homeschooling families who use our platform.
2. Key Responsibilities
The Champion will serve as a moderator and admin for a local "T4L IRL" Facebook Group. As part of this role, the Champion agrees to:
-
Organize and host a minimum of one (1) free in-person meetup per quarter for the local group.
-
Ensure the local Facebook Group remains a safe, welcoming, and positive space for all members.
-
Actively engage with the community by posting relevant content and encouraging discussions.
-
Represent the Time4Learning brand in a positive and professional manner.
-
All events must be free to attend, with the exception of any entry fees that attendees would be expected to pay at a public venue (e.g., zoo, museum, or state park).
-
Follow the guidelines and best practices provided in the T4L IRL Host Welcome Kit.
3. Brand Representation and Code of Conduct
The Champion understands that their actions and words reflect on the Time4Learning brand. The Champion agrees to:
-
At all times, comply with all applicable laws, rules, and regulations.
-
Not post or submit content that is inappropriate, defamatory, or violates the privacy or rights of others.
-
Not engage in any behavior that would harm the brand’s reputation.
-
Not use this role for personal financial gain, promotion of other businesses, or any purpose other than building the local T4L community. The promotion of multi-level marketing (MLM) businesses or similar schemes is strictly prohibited.
4. Content Usage Rights
By submitting any user-generated content (UGC), such as photos, videos, or quotes from meetups, the Champion grants Time4Learning a royalty-free, perpetual, and worldwide license to use, reproduce, publish, and display such content in any media. This allows us to share your group's amazing stories on our website, blog, and social media channels to inspire other families.
5. Termination
This agreement is on a volunteer basis and may be terminated at any time by either Party with or without cause. The Champion may step down at any time, and Time4Learning reserves the right to remove a Champion from the role if the terms of this agreement are not being met.
By accepting the role of T4L Community Champion, the volunteer agrees to the terms and expectations outlined in this document.
