Time4Learning makes my life easier
Time 4 Learning is our choice in homeschool curriculum. We have been using Time 4 Learning since we started homeschooling 3 years ago. They offer lessons from Preschool up to 8th grade including Algebra.
I started out with my oldest on it in 1st grade. He really enjoyed the video animations. The program also allows you to pick a grade above or a grade below your child’s set grade which is really useful for the ones that excel in one area and need more time in others. It also has a lesson plan if you choose to use it or you can make your own according to the lessons listed.
The Upper Level (4th-8th) also has a Art Curriculum which is great, my son really enjoys this. I love that you can set things up to fit your child. My youngest loves the Playground, which is a large list of educational games that they are allowed to play after their lesson time. You are able to set the time limits on both the lesson time and playground. The thing I like is they think they are playing but they are really still learning. I also love the fact I can print out a Progress Report every day, every week or every month (or whenever I want to). It list the each activity as a lesson, quiz or test.
Like most parents looking for a curriculum I believe there are key factors to look for.. the curriculum needs to have flexibility, needs a plan, fit my child’s learning style, be fun and be affordable. Time 4 Learning fits all these factors.
