Review of Time4Learning Kindergarten Curriculum

5 Stars

By Lesia Black on June 14, 2020

My son, who began the Time4Learning Kindergarten curriculum in May 2020, loves this program. It is colorful and engaging. He especially loves the music at the end of each lesson and the songs throughout. He has already began independent reading (with a little assistance for the bigger words) and loves that he is challenged to learn new words. So far he has breezed through the math section, but he was advanced in math before beginning. I just don't like to skip ahead because I don't want him to miss any foundational steps in his education. He is also doing a separate offline curriculum that I have intertwined with this one, and I do supplement with worksheets and activities from various sources especially if he is struggling with a specific concept. However, this curriculum is his favorite and I see his progress has excelled since adding it to the more traditional schoolwork. He started preschool in 2019 in the public school system through special education due to his autism and now is well above his peers in all academic areas. As a parent, I also love this program. I like the ease of setting up a planner for him and the ability to schedule breaks as needed without hindering his progress. I love the reports that are generated. Not only do they help me to stay up-to-date on his grades and provide insight into the information that he retains, but it also provides a way for me to demonstrate what he is learning to the school system if it does become a requirement in my state. I also love the excitement I see on my son's face each time he learns a new skill. Time4Learning gets two thumbs up from my son and an additional two thumbs up from me. I wholeheartedly endorse this curriculum for anyone looking to homeschool their child(ren).

Time4Learning is a wonderful online program that can be used to enhance your homeschool experience. Some homeschool parents choose to use it as a core curriculum for their children. Others choose to use it to supplement their curriculum. I have done a lot of research, and have used quite a few...

When I began looking at Time4Learning, I admit that my response was skeptical at best. Because this curriculum uses video game-like teaching, I was uncertain if my children would learn anything. I knew they would love it (who wouldn’t love playing video games for school?), but I, of...

I’ve had a few questions from folks, so I figure I’d address how we are homeschooling this year, especially with a baby in the house! I do know some supermoms in the homeschooling world…and I’m not one of them.  🙂   I was admittedly nervous; this is honestly our first year of...

I have been homeschooling my children for years. We live in a small community and the public school does not offer up to date learning materials. My daughter’s found themselves extremely bored academically. They were not excited to go to school because they were tired of being bored. I...

As a homeschooling mom, who is always trying to keep costs down when it comes to homeschooling, I am always searching for the “perfect” curriculum that offers everything that I want, need, and comes with a “perfect” price tag as well. I particularly look into the online...

This will be my fourth year homeschooling Jaden.  He just entered the third grade. Man…how can I have a third grader?  I *swear* I was just changing his diaper. {sigh} This year we are trying something different, as far as curriculum.  Normally, I piece together his curriculum &...

It was one of those “you should try this” emails from a friend which I might have easily bleeped over. Thanks for the info, friend, no time to check it out now, maybe later… A month into vacation time, and I was looking for some new math instruction to keep my kids learning...

The kids and I had the great opportunity to review Time4Learning for 30 days.  I can’t believe our time is up, it went by so very fast.  The kids really enjoyed using this program as did I.  One of the best features of this program, in my opinion,  is that it allows the kids to […]

Time4Learning has been an excellent addition to our homeschool. My two older boys, ages 11 and nine, have used it over the past month. One of the main reasons it has been especially great this past month has been the convenience of being able to tell the boys to sign on and within seconds, they...
