First Grade Vocabulary Software
First graders enhance their vocabulary skills while working through the language arts software. Vocabulary exercises address sight words, vowel sounds, consonant blends and rhyming words. Students will find themselves learning with the animated characters that often sing and host game shows to teach the material. At the end of each unit, the first graders will take a test to make sure they have mastered the lessons.
Time4Learning is a fun software, entertaining and I really like the way it explains things in a way that the kids can understand, without making it boring.

First Grade Math Software
Time4Learning’s online first grade math software curriculum provides 102 lessons for e-learning. These first grade math lessons are broken down into the following categories: number sense, fractions, operations, money, patterns, shapes, time and measurement. The first grade math software also provides additional practice activities, quizzes, tests and assessments. Parents can check on their children’s progress through the Parent Dashboard. Extra resources such as printable worksheets are also available.
First grade math lessons within Time4Learning’s software are designed to build upon the concepts taught in kindergarten. This is the same whether you are using Time4Learning as an e-learning tool or for distance learning.
Students begin their online first grade math lessons working with numbers. They will learn how to count by two’s and five’s. Fractions up to ¼, addition and subtraction come next. The online first grade math software then moves on to identifying patterns and determining whether two numbers are equal or unequal. Once those first grade math lessons are completed, students can move on to two and three dimensional shapes, number lines and telling time with clocks and calendars. Lessons on weight, graphing and problem solving round out the first grade e-learning math curriculum.

Structure of the First Grade Software Program – The Time4Learning Structure
Time4Learning has been refined through years of feedback from educators, parents and students. First grade subjects are presented with web-based software organized into multimedia chapters composed of interactive lessons, printable worksheets and graded activities. First graders are guided through the online activities at their own pace by an automated software system.
Distance learning begins when the first grader logs into the software program via the student log in page. First graders can then choose from the list of subjects. All material is in a suggested sequence, however, students do have the option to skip around. Completed lessons, quiz and test scores are all automatically saved within the portfolio.
Parents receive access to printable lesson plans, teaching tools, detailed reporting and parental support through the Parent Dashboard and our online Parent Forum.
Does your child have different achievement levels for math and language arts? No problem. Time4Learning lets you set each individual subject at the appropriate grade level, making this program ideal for special needs and gifted students.
First Grade Educational Software for Homeschool, Afterschool and Summer Use
Time4Learning is a web-based educational software program that can be used for homeschool, afterschool or summer learning. It is a great way to start first graders off on the right foot. Time4Learning presents first grade curriculum using Internet software that is both engaging and effective. Kids love the funny sound effects and quirky cartoon characters the software presents lessons with. Animated, interactive lessons feel more like video games than learning exercises. Plus, the student-paced nature of the program teaches them how to work independently, giving them a sense of ownership over their progress, which is a great motivator.
Time4Learning is entirely web-based, so there is nothing to download, no CDs and nothing additional to purchase. Your kids will be able to access the program 24/7 from any computer with an Internet connection.
