By: Katie Fri, 11 Aug 2017 16:05:27 +0000 Hi Michelle! I remember being where you are! Homeschooling is awesome, but definitely can be a little nerve wracking. 🙂 We started to homeschool when I pulled my oldest son of public school less than 2 months into his 1st grade year. He just graduated!

I would say to first make sure you find out what your state homeschooling laws are, and that you understand what they expect of homeschoolers. This might be a good place to start:

It’s normal to be nervous, but remember to have fun, lol! I forgot that in the beginning and wish someone would have reminded me. Even through the harder periods, making the decision to homeschool turned out to be one of the best decisions we made.
