A Secular Curriculum

Looking for an effective Secular Online Curriculum?

Time4Learning’s PreK – 8th Grade Curriculum takes a standards-based approach to education, while taking advantage of today’s technology. Our learning system consists of a convenient, secular online home education program that teaches with fun, educational games.

Whether mainstream, gifted, or special needs, Time4Learning provides a flexible, student-paced approach. Our “outside-of-the-box” approach offers your child a refreshing change from sitting in a classroom or at a table reading textbooks. The versatility of the program makes it an invaluable teaching tool for parents, whether they use it as a primary curriculum, a supplement, an after school alternative to tutoring, or for remediation.

Time4Learning is web based, so there is no software to download, no CDs and nothing additional to purchase. Members can access the program 24/7 from anywhere with a computer and an internet connection.

With Time4Learning, there are never contracts.

A Secular Learning Tool with Substance

Great for homeschool, after school, summer learning or remediation, the online homeschool curriculum includes:

  • Language Arts, Math (including Algebra), Science & Social Studies
  • thousands of interactive (multimedia), student-paced lessons
  • printable worksheets
  • graded activities and assessments
  • complete lesson plans
  • detailed reporting for easy record keeping
  • a time-stamping feature on the activities (to account for attendance)
  • and much more...

Lessons are presented in a suggested sequence, designed to create a strong subject literacy foundation and build upon it. Printable worksheets and graded activities reinforce the content to maximize retention.

A Secular Learning Tool for the Individual Student

Time4Learning offers a curriculum created for the individual student.

The initial sign-up process asks parents to fill out a short questionnaire to help determine an appropriate starting point. Students can use the system as much or as little as they want and can focus on one subject or work equally on all of them.

Time4Learning understands that students perform differently in different subjects, so:

  • Students get their own, individual learning path, which is created based on skill mastery rather than grade level.
  • Students receive access to curriculum one grade above their placement (for enrichment), and one grade level below (for review).
  • Students can work through the curriculum at their own pace and on their own terms; either by following the suggested sequence or by choosing their own.
  • Students are not locked into one grade level for all subjects.
  • Parents can easily make adjustments to their child’s learning level if the work seems too challenging or not challenging enough.

A Better Alternative to Secular Learning

Time4Learning understands that parents often want to separate religion from academics.

Our activities are presented parallel to the average public school curriculum so it correlates to all 50 state standards in Math & Language Arts. In addition, the program offers a variety of non-religious Science and Social Studies lessons. Exercises are presented via animated, interactive, multimedia lessons that feel more like video games than learning exercises. Kids genuinely enjoy the funny sound effects and the quirky cartoon characters delivering the lessons. Plus, the student-paced nature of the program gives them a feeling of independence and sense of ownership over their progress, which is a great motivator.

Time4Learning's program has been refined through years of feedback from educators, parents, and students. Lessons are taught through individual learning paths that assure mastery of the kind of skills that promote success. The sequence is specifically designed to create a solid foundation and build upon it. This kind of approach both builds confidence and maximizes retention.
