Term of Contest
The Time4Learning/Clear Channel Preschool Giveaway Contest will run through midnight, Sunday February 14, 2010.
Prize
Each of the one hundred (100) individual winners of the Time4Learning Preschool Contest will receive a free three-month subscription to the preschool curriculum at Time4Learning.com (Value: $59). Time4Learning provides an animated and convenient web-based program for homeschool curriculum or afterschool study, from elementary phonics to middle school algebra. Full details on the educational program offered by Time4Learning.com can be found here. The Time4Learning curriculum spans from preschool to eighth grade however the contest giveaway is valid only for the new preschool portion of the product. Due to licensing costs, other grade levels cannot be available to winners for free. Any winner that elects to subscribe at a different grade level can do so at a 75% discount off of the normal price for the three-month period.
Odds of Winning
Odds of winning will be the total number of licenses awarded (100) divided by the number of total entries received. Based on the duration, reach and frequency of the radio spots and inclusion on the radio website, we estimate the odds of winning to be one (1) in fifty (50).
Eligibility
This promotion is being offered throughout the U.S. and Canada, however it is void where prohibited by law or where state regulation and/or licensing requirements have not been met. Minors (under legal age to contract), employees of Time4Learning, Clear Channel and their immediate families are not eligible to participate. Only listeners and friends of listeners to Clear Channel radio stations located in the Palm Beach County listening area are eligible to participate in this contest. Previous subscribers to the Time4Learning education newsletter will need to provide a different email address in order to enter this contest.
How to Participate In This Contest
To enter, listeners will need to follow the link found on the participating radio station website in order to access the entry form located on Time4Learning.com. Participants entering the contest will need to register for a free educational newsletter published by Time4Learning.com. Registration requires a valid first name, last name and email address entered into the entry form. Registrants may unsubscribe immediately if they do not wish to receive the education newsletter from Time4Learning. Only one (1) entry per person is allowed. Clear Channel and Time4Learning are not responsible for errors, omissions, interruptions, deletions, defects in part or whole, delays in operations or transmission, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to or alterations of entry materials, or for any technical or non-technical network, telephonic, electronic, computer, hardware or software malfunctions of any kind, or inaccurate or partial transmission of or failure to receive entry information by Time4Learning.com on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet, at any web site or any combination thereof.
Selection of Winners
Winners will be selected in an electronically randomized manner on the afternoon of February 15, 2010. The winners will be notified the day of the drawing by email and their first names and last initials will be posted on Clear Channel and Time4Learning sites on the same pages that originally hosted the sign up form and link. Time4Learning.com is not responsible for notifications that are misdirected or not received because of incorrect email addresses or because the email address provided is no longer valid. If a potential winner cannot be reached after a reasonable effort has been made during 5 business days from the first notification attempt, such person may be disqualified, with an alternate winner selected. Any winner who does not comply with the Official Rules will be disqualified and an alternate winner will be selected. Return of any prize or prize notification as "undeliverable" will result in disqualification and an alternate winner will be selected.
Redemption
Time4Learning.com will redeem the prizes as follows: Upon confirmation, winners will be contacted via email by Time4Learning.com with instructions on how to redeem and set up their subscription.
Conditions
By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of Time4Learning.com and waive any right to claim ambiguity of these Official Rules. All decisions regarding this contest, including, but not limited to, selecting winners, will be made by Time4Learning.com, whose decisions shall be final. Winners are solely responsible for all applicable federal, state and local taxes.
