The game sites - Yahooligans, PopCap Games, Games.com, AddictingGames - use online games to sell to the kids more complete versions of the games, to get children to click-through on ads, or worst of all, to get users to install their "free games" which can fill computers with spyware and pop-ups-making computers act like they've been possessed. And many game sites provide a chat service as part of the game, certainly not appropriate for young children. The brand name web sites have also become extremely commercial --- Disney, Lego, Crayola, Warner Brothers.
